You can add additional devices for authentication if your primary authenticator becomes unavailable.
Authentication normally will only work from your primary device, although some web applications may give you the ability to authenticate with a secondary device for your current session. If this is not the case, you'll need to set a different authenticator as your primary method.
To access My Devices, click ‘Login or Register’ in the top right corner of this page, Sign in, then click your KochID in the top right corner of this page and select My Devices.
On the My Devices page, the devices you currently have paired with your account are displayed with your primary device highlighted in green.
Next, click +Add. You may be prompted to authenticate using an existing authentication device. The Add New Device window will now open.
Now, select the new authentication method that you wish to add.
Each authentication method will prompt you with its own set of instructions. Follow the provided instructions to complete the registration and pairing of your newly added alternative authentication method.
When the system has completed pairing your new authentication device, you will be redirected back to the My Devices page. Your new device will now be displayed in the last row of the listing with its default nickname.
To make your new device the primary (default) device, in the Primary column, move the slider to on (green).
