Choose a different device for authenticating (Non Web Applications)
Some applications do not allow you to change to an alternative device at the application login. You will need to visit the device management portal and select a new primary device on your Devices page.
If you have more than one device defined and your preferred device is unavailable (e.g. you left your smartphone at home), you will be able to select an alternative authentication device during the login process to the device management portal.
Access the My Devices page. When prompted to authenticate (Authentication window), click Change Device. The Change Authenticating Device window lists all your available devices. Select the device you want to use and then select Sign On. You are prompted to authenticate according to the method you selected.
Access the My Devices page. The My Devices page opens, showing the devices you currently have paired with your account. The primary device is shown in green.
Click the Primary slider to select the device that you want to make your primary device. The primary device is shown in green.
Return to the application and log in with your new primary method.
Remember, you can switch back to your original device once it is available to you again by following these steps again.
