Transfer PingID authentication to a different device
If you're changing or upgrading your phone, you'll need to transfer the ability to authenticate to your new device. You can do so directly from the PingID app.
Once you've transferred PingID authentication to your new device, you'll no longer be able to authenticate on your old device.
On your new device, go to the appropriate app store. Then, download PingID.
On your old device (the one you want to unpair), open the PingID app, tap the settings wheel and then tap Change Device. You'll see a QR code and pairing key.
On your new device, open the PingID app and scan the QR code, or enter the pairing key. A green checkmark indicates pairing is complete and your organization is added to PingID.
Next time you log on to your account or app, you will be prompted to authenticate on the new device.
