You can transfer PingID to a different device in one simple procedure (see Transfer PingID authentication to a different device). If you want to uninstall the PingID mobile app from a single device, remove it in the same way as you uninstall any app on your device.
Unpair the PingID app from your Koch Identity.
If you do not unpair the app before uninstalling, you may experience problems pairing other devices and need to contact the helpdesk for support.
Uninstalling the PingID app varies slightly between IOS and Android:
iOS: On your device, press and hold the PingID application icon until all icons appear with an X on the top left, and then On the PingID app, tap X. Tap Delete to confirm.
Android: On your device, press and hold the PingID icon and then drag it to the Uninstall icon at the top right hand corner of your screen.
Tap Delete. The PingID app will now be deleted along with its associated data.
